Why is it so hard to get what u want in life...? and after u go through
all the struggle and finally do get it...its not as valuable anymore..u begin to
question it...was it worth all the pain..the hardwork..the hours of
thought..maybe not! this is when it hurts..it all looks so nice from far away
..but as it comes closer..its not that good anymore..its a dirty game that life
plays with us..and there is absolutely nothing u can do about it...except sit
there..and strive to achieve and then when u do get there...rarely feel good
about it..and more often feel rotten and crib about all the time u lost playing
this futile game................. "

its a general human tendency of whn u stive tu nd strugglle to gain somethin nd whn u actually gain it the value of it diminishes..with time bec the strugglle that pain for the will to hav it dissapears soo thats life happens nd its unavoidable ....LIFE...PLAY IT...ITS ALL ABOT THE GAME...!!!!

ReplyDelete@anonymous- You r right-its human who is selfish and keeps on putting that extra bit to achieve more. But, there are few ppl(angels) who are not at all selfish and who find happiness in what they have....I feel my granny was one example of that for me. But, you can argue saying that even she must have been putting that extra effort for 'Happiness' and then after getting...may be more....so, ur right....
ReplyDelete@niku- We all learn from experiences. But, the ultimate thing to get peace is to put in your best effort. If you put in your best effort, then you will never regret. You have an exam tomorrow and you know thatits not possible to pass and so you give up.....u will feel like a loser after the result. But, if you study whole day and put in your best effort, even after knowing the fact that you might fail, you wont regret. You tried your best and you could have done no better. One of my frnd says 'Regret is the worst human emotion...'
@vandana-I manipulated this story/poem lil bit and made a video for one of the courses in my Masters. The 3 minute video went to the hamburg film festival:-)....but ntn good after that hehe....waiting to read more of your neat writing.
